Trattoria Cravette - MONCALIERI

Great food and service . We arrived there 45 minutes before their closing time, but they were patient in taking our order and waiting for us to finish our lunch. The vibe in the restaurant is very chill .... even among the staff.

Cravatte is a restaurant with many tables, located in a crossing point that is clearly visible from the road. For the type of restaurant, it is a bit strange that the menu available is only à la carte; that of not proposing a fixed-price formula is a smart choice on the part of the managers, but at the same time honest: both for the first and second courses, the price ranges are very varied, from the cheapest and simplest dish to the most elaborate and refined and therefore you pay the right amount for what you choose (in general, the price is never high anyway). What I can easily assume is that such a system is in any case appreciated by a vast clientele and in fact the place is always full, from what I have been able to see; it is generally frequented by families, workers on break, hauliers, office workers, etc… The specialties offered are the most classic of Italian cuisine but there are also more creative variations and everything is very appetizing and cooked with great skill. I find it absolutely appreciable that on some days, you can also order arrosticini, a typical dish from my region of origin: Abruzzo. The service is surprisingly fast and efficient: there are several girls running back and forth around the room, non-stop, and they are really tireless! But the best is always the blonde lady with straight hair, petite, gymnastic and always smiling!

When we are in these parts we stop for lunch here. Very fast and precise service, the girls in the room are brilliant at serving and are always ready. The food is good, the only flaw is the fried potatoes, without salt (although healthy) they are not the best, the price is super ok. I stain my shirt every time.

Eravamo in zona per lavoro, devo dire il mio parere è completamente negativo se lo devo considerare come ristorante/trattoria, può diventare quasi sufficiente se lo considero “mensa di lavoro”. Mi dispiace ma non credo proprio di ritornarci
