Ethan Kitchen - Monbulk
Ethan Kitchen
Description
Nestled in a bustling locale, this Pan-Asian restaurant boasts a wide array of dishes, yet it presents a mixed bag in terms of culinary experiences. Diners rave about standout items like crispy lemon chicken and delightful prawn toast, while others express disappointment with flavorless offerings and inadequate vegan options. Service receives commendations for its warmth, though overall satisfaction varies greatly. With prices that some feel don't align with the quality, it's a spot that might appeal to those seeking takeout comfort but leaves others yearning for a more consistent dining journey. A place with potential, yet a need for refinement.

Great service and super friendly staff. Bought the rainbow beef and shredded duck with beanshoots, love it.
Ordered dinner for the family and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and not oily. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$1–20
Have had takeaway dinner from here several times and never disappointed. Best lemon chicken I’ve ever had, batter is crispy and the lemon sauce is delicious and not overly sweet. Fried rice is done exactly like it’s supposed to be. Hubby has Nasi Goreng and loves it. We drive a long way to get dinner here because it’s worth it Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–20

We ordered the Combo seafood in xo sauce, veggie dumplings, chicken with cashew nuts, prawn omelet, veggie pad Thai and Malaysian char kway teow. The food was hot and delicious. We were in the hills for a day trip and were surprised to get such good food up there. Such a rare find. The girl who served us was lovely. Definitely recommend if in the area! Meal type: Lunch
