Too often in Australia in the 21st century, 'service' is an oxymoron.Few sales assistants say the correct form of English 'would you like..?' with other, basic statements being more common. However the early 20s male assistant at Red Rooster Ormond was extremely courteous in using the correct words. My chicken cheese and bacon burger was delicious and the serving of chips generous, accompanied by a Coke for A$8.79 whic... Ordered two rooster rolls and it seemed they were heated in microwave. They were tasteless and bread was soggy and chicken filling was terrible. Never recommend it to anyone. View all feedback.
Red Rooter has really improved their offerings. I have no complaints after trying the BBQ box. The burger was delicious and fresh, the fried chicken was crispy and full of flavor, and the seasoned chips were also perfectly done. It was an awesome meal.
I was pleasantly surprised by Red Rooster's new fried chicken. I found it to be even better than KFC's Original Recipe, with a crispier texture and more flavorful tenderness. If Red Rooster offered more deals like KFC and allowed Red Royalty at their CBD locations, I would definitely visit more often.
The Rooster Roll was decent, not the worst I've had from other places, but I've definitely had better rolls from this restaurant before. The chips were superior to those from KFC and McDonald's - they were crunchy, thick, well-cooked, and seemed fresh.
Came here for a quick dinner. The food did take some time to be made but with the wait. The bacon mama burger was delicious and the chicken was juicy and fresh. The chips where also hot which you barely find in fast food restaurants.
Great boom and chips here. strange hours, although 11 am-9 pm especially with a 24h maccas on the road
