Great service and ambienc... read more This review is based on their evening dinner service, not their day-time fare.Our first visit was on a Thursday night. It was perfect. Great service and ambience, and a gorgeous meal which moved it up to being one of our favorite restaurants. The next visit was on a Wednesday night which turned out to be "Souvlaki night". A happy-go-lucky noisy family night with Ok Souvlakis. Our third visit was on a Friday night and something of a disaster. We had to wait an unacceptably long time and chase them up for our food. Although they denied it, given that the restaurant was pretty empty, it seemed clear that they were giving their up market takeaway customers preference. Then our two meat skewer dishes arrived luke warm. Because we were so hungry, we ate these dishes and the two vegetable dishes that should have arrived at the same time came along piping hot after we had eaten all of the meat. Clearly the kitchen got their workflow completely wrong.To their credit they offered us complementary deserts which we politely declined.In summary, we might give Thursday night one more go. The chat potatoes and brussel sprouts are "to die for" and when the kitchen gets it right, the food is great. However the jury is out on which version (Jekyll or Hyde) is the norm?

The kids birthday party went smoothly and I cannot thank you enough for giving the kids such a great party. The feedback I received from parents were all excellent and I would give a special mention to 'Elsa ' who was really special and the kids couldn 't get enough of her!
