I ordered one their much touted peri peri burgers and it was very poor - just a piece of meat, a slice of cheese and soggy lettuce. Little flavour and a bun that wasn't very fresh. We had visited this place about 18 months ago and loved the Chargrilled Calamari. Tonight it was totally different... awful. Certainly wasn't chargrilled. Vaguely browned and swimming in a 'tangy' liquid. The taste was so strange we couldn't continue eating it. The Mezze Plate was also disappointing- no kofte or kalamata olives as per menu just the usual bought 'house dips' They certainly need to pick up their game if they want to survive in Melbourne'a Greek hot spot- Oakleigh.
Service substandard, took a while for the food to come out. When it arrived the octopus rubbery, the other seafood dishes were fish & chips chop quality. It wasn't expensive overall but still not enjoyable for what we paid. Cleanliness so-so, I can't in all honesty recommend it for me never again
Throwing a big birthday bash at home for 45 people, we partially catered for it by ordering some gyros trays and other items from Eat Grk, and were delighted with the quality and presentation of food.We pre ordered the food the day before and collected at the appointed time, the food was ready, hot and fresh also well packed in foil containers and cardboard boxes for easy transport and insulation. The spanikopita pie was whole, beautifully layered and presented. Extremely delicious. People raved about the home made dolmades and the lamb had second and third helpings by guests, people saying it was extremely moist, tender with authentic flavour. The chicken was moist and well spiced, as was the baklava although a bit overshadowed with the trifle and pavlovas provided from home.This option made for easy catering. We supplied our own salads and rice and had a small BBQ going for entre meats. When the big trays of lamb and chicken arrived, everyone was able to access food at the same time and the packages kept subsequent trays hot for second and third helpings.The quality of each item was superb, were ready for collection at the appointed time and fresh and hot.Made for a special night. we supplied our own sal and condiments ads
