My wife and I pedalled to this hilltop restaurant from a nearby campsite and built up a fine appetite. The simple but excellent bruschetta was a great starter whist the fine pasta with black truffle was prepared. The roast rabbit with vegetables was superb. Dessert could not be resisted and with house wine, we paid about €50 for a very enjoyable 3 hours with very pleasant service. Thank goodness it was downhill back... View all feedback.

I should admit: Grani di Pepe is my fav Restaurant also because close to my house. Nonetheless, their clients are coming from everywhere for eating the select food that is provided by friendly staff. From appetizers of Chianina meat (local beaf) through the foretaste of truffles to the fantastic home made desserts you will enjoy the marchigiana cuisine. Suggested main dishes are passatelli with porcini mushrooms or with truffles, the fiorentina T-bone steak, tagliata steak and as finish the Tortino al cioccolato (chocolate pie). Also salads and vegetables are very genuine.

In an unexpected place we found this unassuming restaurant. The simple terrace bordering on the parking lot of the adjoining supermarket turned out to be a great place to eat. The food: as it should be. A pasta with truffle (the softer summer variety) that did not have more than 3 ingredients: pasta, truffle, fresh tomato sauce and of course some oil. The taste: great, really good. To experience good, simple Italian food: go here. And the surrounding area is very pretty too!
A small terrace with only locals the evening we ate at Grani. Very enthousiastic waiter/owner someting I really appreciate! Besides the normal Italian fare some interesting dishes like rabbit and wild pig from the forrest. No winelist but the house red was pretty good. Prices are very moderate and you get some nice authentic Italian food.
