Mollkirch is a small rural city with just one restaurant to talk so possibly not a place where many people will actually visit this. on 5th august 2016 we had a nice evening and a beautiful meal. it is not. very touristy place, and they have very few British visitors, but that is that they get the real local cuisine that get the regular. excellent eating, at a good price, and the personal was absolutely charming. in the (admittedly unlikely) event they are ever in mollkirch, this is a great place to eat.
Or a party of 6 adults has eaten an evening here. we all had duck or steak. we all enjoyed our meals and were pleased to be offered a side dish vegetables. we had desserts that were in order, but nothing special, so a little. after the main courses down. the restaurant has a good selection of local weeps to enjoy from the pichet we drank pinot noir and riesling again from all. the staff is friendly and helpful and the bill was very reasonable.

Lovely exterior, modern on the inside. No comments on the service, plain good, on the recommendation of the wine, damn good, or on the food, darn... that's good! My husband and I ate different things but are in agreement that for these prices you get really good quality food. I can particularly recommend a traditional dish called: Bibeleskaes which consists of baked potatoes with cream cheese, chives, onion and garlic. Don't forget to order a piece of Munster cheese with that. Combine.. enjoy! Delicious but it's a lot so if you are not a big eater.. maybe take a smaller dish! We already went here for a second time and the dish was a wonderful then as it was the first time.

We had desserts which were ok but nothing special so a bit of a let down after the main courses. The restaurant has a good range of local wines to order by the pichet - we drank Pinot noir and Riesling - again enjoyed by all. The staff are friendly and helpful and the bill was very reasonable.
