Le Grand Hôtel - Molitg-les-Bains

The grand hotel is located in a beautiful mountainous setting. He's a little old. The 4 stars are probably overrated. The bar has a fireplace that smokes inside and you breathe it in. In the rooms on the 1st floor you can hear the toilets flushing from the floor above at night. The bathroom has been rectified over time but the pipes are filthy in certain places under the sink. the shelf above the sink is wobbly. the shower drain is malfunctioning so you can't take a bath. These inconveniences are offset by very friendly staff at the hotel and restaurant. If the hotel was fabulous, it would be full, which is not the case. The swimming pool is good but leaks below in the gardens. There would be a need for a lot of work!!!

A sublime environment and a superb hotel of charm and character. The rooms are bright and comfortable. All the staff are warm and professional, whether they are those in charge of cleaning the rooms, reception/reception or serving the bistro for breakfast or lunch. The thermal baths are splendid, the treatments are of high quality and the employees are very available, with exemplary courtesy and professionalism. The quality is there at all levels. A really very pleasant stay. A truly refreshing break.

It is a mountain paradise, an idyllic place to rest and disconnect from the modern world. The hotel has retained its period soul while having been renovated, this was the case with our room. A little noise coming through the walls but that's normal, it's probably due to the wall materials. Have breakfast on one of the small private terraces, in fact, you can have it wherever you want in the hotel! And there are many discreet and quiet places! The swimming pool was at the ideal temperature, it's a joy to hang out there in the evening, it doesn't close, you can access it at any time. If I gave the service 4 stars it is because I would have liked the receptionist to show discretion when he presented me with the bill, I would have liked him not to announce the price in front of me. better half, he should have assumed that this could be a surprise! But, apart from this insignificant detail, go there with your eyes closed!
