Señor Julio’s - Moline
Señor Julio’s
Description
Perched on the river with a lit-up bridge view, this casual Mexican restaurant delivers speedy, attentive service, generous portions and wallet-friendly prices. Standouts include well-seasoned grilled chicken, fajitas, lively margaritas and micheladas; Taco Tuesday draws crowds. Clean, friendly and convenient for lunch, dinner or takeout, it’s a reliable local favorite—though chip quality and occasional soggy or under-seasoned to-go items suggest a few consistency tweaks could elevate it further.

Excellent Mexican cuisine! The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous—you won't leave feeling hungry. The michelada and margarita are fantastic. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained.
I visited for the first time tonight for Taco Tuesday and had the beef tacos for just $1 each, along with some beans and rice. It was definitely worth the visit, and I can't believe I haven't tried this place before. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
We've visited this restaurant twice now and can hardly believe some of the negative reviews we've seen. We just don’t get it! Each time, our food has been excellent. Both visits, we were seated, had our drinks, and were served our meals within 10 minutes. The server checked on us regularly, asked if we needed anything, and ensured our drinks were always full. They even brought us more sodas before we'd finished the first ones, and we didn't have to ask. I highly recommend this restaurant!
We were looking for a nice view of the river and bridge at night and saw this place. The reviews should be way better. Our waitress said they had to let a few people go that didn’t have very good customer service. Our waitress was really sweet. Abundant portions and pretty healthy stuff for very inexpensive and it’s delicious.
