I came to visit from Indianapolis, Indiana and stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Moline, IL and it was a fairly good experience. Most of the staff are really nice, there was good choices for breakfast, and it was located near a lot of shopping centers and places to eat. There was a housekeeper named Jessica who was very nice and helped me with a lot of my room service needs. I really appreciate the work that she... View all feedback.
What jane g doesn't like about Country Inn Suites By Radisson, Moline Airport, Il:
Basics in the room, other locations have better amenities. Towels cheap, no makeup remover wipes.Desk staff okay, didn't mention additional $50 put on room charge. Best employee was breakfast attendant who consistently stocked low items. View all feedback.
First, they left us stranded at the airport at 10pm at night. Said they 'd let their shuttle driver go home and he was already in bed. So we had to take an overpriced cab .3mi from the airport for $25, and they refused to pay for it. Ridiculous.. they advertise in their name airport hotel .. shuttles are expected. Then we were sent to our first room that was filled with cigarette smoke. Room two was already occupied!! Finally, the third room, and last available, with a leaky refrig with wet towels in it and the door hanging open. I had to clean that mess up myself. We were finally going to bed and the sheets were dirty with blood spots. Gross!!! Carpet was filthy.. left socks on to walk on it. The worst part: they refused to do anything to compensate for the lack of shuttle and the extra expenses we incurred unexpectedly, nor for the horrible three rooms they sent us to! NEVER STAY HERE UNLESS YOU DONT MND A DISGUSTING HOTEL WITH PEOPLE WHO DON 'T GIVE A S**T!!
I recently stayed here with a family member. We checked in right at 3:00pm, the staff was very nice and welcoming. We get up to the room, it was very clean and large. Next we go to check out the pool and hot tub that it listed it had on Expedia. We get down there, the hot tub is gone. It has been filled in for at least a few years. It is very obvious where it was as for the safety signs for it still being on the wall. Additionally the pool was disgusting. The water was very cloudy and you could not see the bottom of the pool. This means that there is either a chemical problem or the pool hasn’t been cleaned in a while. I refuse to get into pools like this. Overall we were very disappointed. We came into town for a nice weekend getaway and we’re expecting to be able to relax in the supposed pool and hot tub. We immediately checked out, the staff checking us out we’re very rude. We found a Hilton Garden Inn right over the Iowa border in Bettendorf, Iowa that was very nice. The pool and hot tub were amazing and the room was very clean. If your looking for a pool and hot tub we do not recommend staying at this Country Inn.
A small group of us stayed overnight earlier this month. We got in very late and left pretty early. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was clean and nicely appointed. We thought there was a wide selection of breakfast foods, more than other hotels provided. We did not have time to use the amenities but did notice an indoor swimming pool. The service was absolutely outstanding. The manager knew we were really tired and kindly checked the rooms as we were loading up. I'd left my pajamas in the bathroom . He came running up to our vehicle with them in his hand to make sure I got them. Thank you Kumar!
Nice rooms. We only spent one night, only talked to the one who checked us in. He was friendly. Breakfast had so grab and go items. Easy to get to.
The stay here was not the best experience I've ever had, not the worst but there were several issues throughout our stay. Immediately upon walking in our room to the right there is a punch hole in the wall. When the wind would blow outside there would be a high pitch whistle, and our room was obviously right up against the stairs. The first night we didn't notice it, but the second night it sounded like somebody was beating on our wall almost all night. We then realized the next morning that it was just people walking up and down the stairs, but it kept us up regardless. The walls seem to be pretty thin because it wasn't too hard to hear everything going on in the room on the other side of us. The breakfast selection was okay if you got out early enough, but the orange juice was VERY watered down. Again, not the worst place you could stay, but those were just the problems we had.
