Captain's Table - Moline
Captain's Table
Description
Perched on the river, Catfish Charlie’s pairs a lively patio, live music and aquarium-accented dining with friendly service and a full bar. Signature seafood — notably catfish, chowder and a shrimp/crab dip — often shines, but food quality is inconsistent: some dishes arrive lukewarm or bland and prices feel high. The restaurant can be noisy when busy; vegetarian and children's choices are limited. Wheelchair access, riverside parking, sidewalks and fishing add appeal, though confusing online naming/ownership changes have surprised returning patrons.

Janee is our most favorite server with an amazing, happy upbeat attitude! She is cheerful and so very welcoming!
Our server Shalynn was amazing. The food was awesome. We got the gator bites as an appetizer. I got a pork tenderloin and my fiance got a Reuben. The view was amazing as well.Wheelchair accessibility: They even have a ramp and handicap elevator.
As for vegetarian options, I didn't notice any on the menu. The kid-friendliness was lacking as well; there were a few choices available for children, but definitely not enough. On a positive note, the parking lot is conveniently located near the water, offering a lovely area to walk along the river. There are sidewalks provided, and you can even fish if you like. It was nice to take in the view of the water and have lunch at the benches and tables available.
Stopped during our bike ride on Great River Trail. A little confused about name, as the dock is called Captains Table but menu says Catfish Charlie’s. Glasses say Catfish Creek at Catfish Charlie’s. Chicken sandwich was ok, catfish sandwich very good. Skip the hand cut fries and Cole slaw.
