I arrived just after the breakfast rush and as the lunch crowd was settling in. The bartender server, Trevor, was exceptional, attentive, and clearly has a bright future in the hospitality industry. The food was prepared quickly, served hot (unlike many chain restaurants), and was absolutely delicious. The prices were reasonable for an airport, in fact, they were very competitive compared to most restaurants in the area. Definitely a must-visit. Be sure to mention General Bob referred you.
Instead of opting for one of the crowded chain restaurants, I chose to eat at Air Host before my flight. It turned out to be a great decision. My server, Pam, was exceptional—attentive and professional throughout. The restaurant was peaceful and spacious, providing a relaxing atmosphere. My meal was prepared exactly as requested, featuring eggs, sausage, potatoes, and an English muffin. The prices were quite reasonable. Next time I’m at Quad Cities International, I’ll definitely dine here again.
I planned to grab breakfast before my flight, but there weren't many choices available. I ended up getting a blueberry bagel, which was unfortunately dry and not good at all. If you're looking for something to eat before your flight, I suggest seeking options outside the airport.
I ordered a mocha, but what I got was just watered-down chocolate. It was priced at $5, and I wouldn't recommend this place.
