We arrived a bit tired of usual pilgrim-friendly fares and were completely revived by a menu of dishes that were built on classic high quality ingredients, but always prepared with a creative and inspired twist. GREAT vegetarian options, solid vegan options. I had never had breaded leeks before, but it will take forever to forget that dish. Do NOT miss the boletus mushrooms if they are in season. Also, I had a great time working through the menu with the staff to put together a rounded experience for our table of six. It's a place with vision when many customers ask for much less. Llegamos agotados por los platos habituales del camino, pero terminamos revitalizados por una cena compuesta por platos hecho de ingredientes clasicos del paladar norteño, de provinencia local y de calidad, y todo preparado con un toque creativo y inspiración. Opciones vegetarianos EXCELENTES, y opciones veganos mas que adecuados. Recomiendo los puerros rebozados que era un plato completamente nuevo para nosotros y pide un ración de boletus sin hesitancia. Disfruté mucho de repasar la carta con el camarero para construir una cenita muy chula para nuestro grupo de 6. Es un sitio con visión ubicado en un sitio donde el cliente suele pedir mucho menos.

We had the mid day menu which salad (lettuce with anchoives) and asparagus. Our main served bbq ribs and cod fish. They serve freshly baked bread which taste warm and yummy. A good place to stop by for your lunch. The guy who served us is friendly. Despite language barrier, he used google translator to explain every course to us clear and we got all we wanted to eat including our desserts. Lunch starts at 1.30 pm and we were early. They were flexible that we had our drinks first and the food to served later. Good for us to rest our feet after the long walk down the mountain from Foncebadon.
