Contribute FeedbackLocated at the Vineries Garden Centre, this coffee shop fell short in several aspects. Uncomfortable seating, robotic service, high prices, and disappointing cakes marred the experience. The food, though, was delicious. Despite the good food and friendly staff, issues with hygiene standards during the ongoing pandemic were concerning. On a positive note, the bright and airy ambiance, along with a variety of food options, left a good impression. Visitors appreciated the helpful staff and convenient location, making it a decent choice for those looking to enjoy a meal while browsing the nursery.
Located at the Vineries Garden Centre, we recently visited this coffee shop and found it to be lacking in several areas. The seating was uncomfortable and the layout was very basic. The service felt robotic and impersonal. While the coffee was decent, the quality of the cakes was disappointing and the prices were much too high. Overall, our experience was underwhelming and we regret not skipping this coffee shop altogether.
My son and I had a pleasant experience at the Vineries Coffee Shop. The food was excellent. Upon entering, there was hand sanitizer available which we used, and we wore masks as the shop is located within the garden store. Despite this, we were the only ones wearing masks. We removed them to eat. Only one person was allowed at the counter to place orders, and all items were brought to our table, which was convenient. However, the young ladies serving us were not wearing masks or gloves. I observed that when customers left, only the top of the tables were sanitized, not the chairs or undersides of the tables. Additionally, the young lady cleaning the trays did not sanitize the undersides or edges where people's hands would touch. Furthermore, I noticed that the two ladies in the small kitchen area were not wearing masks or gloves, and one of them was preparing someone's food order. Due to these observations, I do not plan on returning until the virus is completely under control.
Nice cafe and the coffee is fine (not exceptional) but £2.60 for a small cappuccino is unjustifiable. It's cheaper in central London.
Stopped to buy plants for family grave visits as this nursery is good value. The lunch we had was possibly a little pricey but the food was well prepared and tasty. The coffee was not burnt and the large cups were large, not tall and narrow mugs which is a common scam in some establishments. Food was prepared fresh, which meant a slightly longer wait but this was not a problem. Waiting staff were friendly and without scripted cheeriness. We will return and this is very convenient for our regular trips to the area.
I frequently visit this restaurant with my boyfriend and mom. The food here is always delicious, especially the paninis which are lovely and tasty. The hot chocolate they serve is my favorite and is amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home.
