What a hidden gem in a beautiful village. The staff were polite, well mannered, and nothing was too much for them. We had tea toasties before our falconry experience locally. Had to return again afterwards. Prices are really good. Lots of friendly cyclists stopping and travelling through. You must pop in when travelling through. View all feedback.
What Muhammad Scott doesn't like about The Reading Room:
This is a lovely little cafe overlooking Brockham Green and my friend and I were really looking forwarding to some lunch here after our 6.5 mile walk. I frequently visit this restaurant with my kids and the staff is always very kind, friendly, and accommodating. The food and coffee are consistently fantastic and of high quality.
This charming cafe is fantastic! The staff are amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. The food is also outstanding. It's no surprise that this place is always packed with customers, as it truly is top-notch.
This is a lovely little cafe with a great selection of local treats. Very friendly staff too. And don't miss out on the pub at the back!
This is a lovely little cafe overlooking Brockham Green and my friend and I were really looking forwarding to some lunch here after our 6.5 mile walk. However, we were disappointed on arriving here at 2pm to be told they had sold out of sandwiches. They obviously do not have the facility to make them on site and did not anticipate the number of visitors for that day. We made do with a delicious sausage roll and croissant, but would really have preferred a sandwich or panini. They did also have a nice range of cakes available but we were not in a cake mood. The staff were very friendly but we were left very disappointed after outr morning trek. As the cafe does not close until 4pm, we thought the choice of available food at only 2pm was very limited.
What a gorgeous place. Wonderful artisan breads, local produce, gorgeous cakes, great coffee and lovely attentive staff. Always busy but you never have to wait long. So lucky to have this gem on our doorstep. Thanks Richard and team! X
