Description

Ryka's, a beloved stop for bikers and casual diners, has undergone significant changes under new management. While the ambiance and outdoor seating have received positive upgrades, many longtime patrons are disappointed with the food quality and pricing. Burgers have been described as subpar, and the lack of variety is noted, particularly missing options like fish. Though some reviews mention tasty dishes and quick service, others recall cold coffee and poorly presented meals. The venue seems to attract customers for its atmosphere rather than consistently great food, sparking hope for improvements in the future.

Excellent rendezvous for bikers. Superb meeting place, but don’t expect too much in terms of cuisine. It is what it is!

Bacon butties, burgers and fries mainly with teas, coffees and canned drinks... average, nothing special but the food is good.

This is Surrey’s equivalent to London’s Ace Cafe. There is ample parking available and plenty of outdoor seating. During our visit, COVID 19 lockdown restrictions were in place. Despite this the Cafe functioned by allowing one customer in to order and pay at a time. Once the food was prepared it was collected from the side window. We had sausage and egg baps. No complaints about the quality of food. However, in my opinion, £9+ was a tad expensive for 2 baps and 2 teas. Despite this it’s a great place for bike car enthusiasts to meet.

Had a burger of the likes I have never tasted before, really unpleasant texture and taste sure it was not beef and at £5 go it should be better quality. Would have been a 0 star rating but for a good cuppa using proper PG tips. Won't eat there again only worth a pit stop for tea and a wee

It is a great location at the bottom of Box Hill. The food is and always has been the same, you get what you pay for. Breakfasts, burgers, chips, ice cream, soft drinks, the usual really. I 've been coming here years and never had a problem. The location is good, but the price of the food is a little Surrey and the service is a bit truck stop ...
