It would have been better with... read more We chose this pub because of its beautiful view. We had dressed crab, which was on special offer that day, and it was delightful. It would have been better with mayonnaise rather than Caesar dressing on the salad, though. The service was charming and attentive but sadly we were unable to leave a tip because there was no way of adding that to our credit card payment

Not sure why it's still table service only for just drinks and it took ages to come despite the plethora of earnest young waiting staff. Accept prices are high... read more Not sure why it's still table service only for just drinks and it took ages to come despite the plethora of earnest young waiting staff. Accept prices are high for the amazing view but not being given a notice about tipping as well just for drinks; the girl hung around expectantly. And my husband said the beer was hazy, not bad enough to return but he didn't finish it. We've been visiting the pub for 45 years and still only one ladies toilet for the number of visitors. We had thought of returning for a meal but weren't impressed enough.

Nice place to go after a local walk.

Great food with plenty of choices for vegans as well as vegetarians and meat eaters. This is an ench... read more A delightful gem of a restaurant which is clearly very popular. We squeezed in a reservation online, but it was packed (on a Wednesday evening). This is an enchanting location with a scenic view, a genial host and great food. We had risotto and calamari as our two mains. Thoroughly recommended.

Vegan food was incredible friends all enjoyed the burger and the vegan pie special was to die for. Honestly some of the best vegan pub food we've ever had, we were talking about it the whole way home. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back if we were in the area. Only downside was tips were cash only so we couldn't leave a tip the staff team so deserved. Thanks Eamon and all

I ordered fries instead of roast potatoes and damn they were crispy. They only take cash tips so bring cash cause you’ll need it for this place, hats off to the staff!
