Description

Nestled in Ashtead, this café has garnered a reputation for its vibrant atmosphere and delicious offerings, particularly among cyclists. Many patrons appreciate the friendly staff and quality coffee, highlighted by standout items like the breakfast special featuring avocado, bacon, and chorizo. The café doubles as a bike repair hub, adding charm and practicality for cycling enthusiasts. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in service quality and food safety concerns alongside rising prices. While it remains a popular pit stop, particularly on busy weekends, some visitors are left yearning for the consistent experience they once cherished.

Chilled place with high quality food and drinks. general bagels and very tasty milk latte. ingredients tasted fresh and they had a modern menu. I've got a couple of great cakes on my store, even though I didn't try anything on this. would definitely go back and recommended for brunch

Perfect place for a perfect coffee/kitchen. also ideal place that comes back from the surrey hills and they can get mechanical help when they need it. also was there as a non-rider and his as much fun. would definitely recommend.

I used to enjoy this restaurant, but in the past few months, it has declined significantly. The service is poor and lacks attention to detail. The layout of the room has changed, with only a table dividing the area between the counter for food and drinks and a bike service area. Is this even up to food safety standards? The prices are also incredibly high, with a soya latte costing £3.40 for takeaway. I ordered a bacon sandwich and the bacon was uncooked, making it inedible. It's disappointing, as I used to have a lot of love for this place.

Often pop in for a coffee after Spinning in the room above with PedalActive. Often busy with cyclists meeting up to go out on a ride or popping in for a mid cycle pit stop.
