The fried chicken burger was excellent, as were their fries and cheese nuggets. I recommend because the price is really worth it given the culinary service intended for me. When it arrived on the table, the fish did not flake, it was grey, chewy and tasteless. All four sent the dinner back. When we got the lutefisk plate round number two, this was *a little* better, but not much. By then the others at the Christmas table had almost finished eating their dinners. By then we were so hungry that we chose to accept anyway. Mostly to eat the side dishes. I couldn't manage the fish at all even though I'm very fond of lutefisk and not really picky either. I ordered lutefisk from Rød a few weeks ago, and it tasted lovely. The fish was white and flaky. The woman serving said they had changed suppliers. We received a gift card equivalent to the sum of the dinner. It just had to be missing. So it wasn't on the service. But the food experience was unfortunately disappointing this time. All in all, not the experience I usually have at Rød. Mostly the food is satisfactory.

The fish didn't have the consistency I was used to , where it flaked easily Here the fish was evenly gray and chewy, and the taste wasn't the best at all. When the waiter asked how it tasted, I kind of had to say that it didn't live up to the good experience I had 2 weeks earlier. I therefore asked which fish was used Cod from Averøy, was the answer. Yes, then it wasn't skrei, but coastal cod. Or something else, because there are many kinds of cod fish. Sorry Rød, this was not a good dining experience.

The snack platter 3 chicken wings, 3 mozzarella sticks, 3 small onion rings and a whole lot of french fries … it’s definitely nothing to share nor to order lesson learned. BUT there is absolutely ZERO customer service. Definitely not a place I would willing choose to come back to. I like a friendly atmosphere I like to be served when eating out. I definitely didn’t like looking for my cutlery!!!!

The choco... read more Great food in A Nice atmosphere! The Grillfest sharing platter was excellent (295NOK p/p 2p minimum) with free refills of fries, sauce and condements. The chocolate fondants was perfectly cooked and the drinks we had, Mojito and GT were good. Only drawback was a slight lack of Staff and one of them was a bit inexperienced. Also plus for two shuffleboards.
