However, the main course was disappointing as the chicken, unless deep-fried, was boiled and had a slimy, chewy texture. While I understand that many Chinese takeaways cook their chicken in this manner, I always try to avoid it as I do not enjoy it. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional and we had no complaints. Overall, the dining experience was mixed.
