What Willie M doesn't like about El Cortez Mexican:
Showed up at 9:30 for some chips and salsa and the door was locked. Lady told me they were closed even though the restaurant's sign and website say open until 10 pm View all feedback.
Food was decent. Nothing special. Our server was terrible though.
Good service food came quickly had the taco dinner it was ok. Enjoyed eating on the inside . The food was good I will be back to try something else and they have updated there menu.

This joint's just OKAY. We have had ups and downs over the years ordering from here. Hope they become more consistent in preparing food!
After calling ahead the day before to make a reservation we were very disappointed with the service, the food, and how long it took to get the food. Never a complaint at the Country Club Hills location, this was no where near their level. We had a party of fifteen, the reason we called ahead. My bill was $460. My son ordered shrimp tacos and couldn't even eat them, they smelled of bleach so bad. Very disappointing.
