No Denny's is OPEN, come in, sit down, comfortable, step back and relax. Someone has to wait for you. My experience with Denny's in Mokena is GREAT, the food is always prepared as it is shown on the menu and if I want something that is not on the menu, the cook will make it for me when they have the ingredients. Recently I ordered an old standby, The Southern Slam, I say it is from the menu for 10 years, nobody knows why. But there are cookies and gravy and eggs cooked as you like them. Denny in Mokena made it for me.

How... read more Upon entering the restaurant and discovering there was only one waitress and one cook, I was initially concerned that our experience would not be up to par. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The waitress was exceptional, very attentive despite juggling multiple tables. The food was cooked perfectly, including my over medium eggs. Perhaps it was my tiredness from traveling, but I found their coffee cups to be quite amusing.

It was a pleasure to be served... read more My sister and I went into Denny’s at 4 am and were greeted with a smile. Our server, Kellie, was so kind, friendly, and pleasant. It was a pleasure to be served by her. You would have never guessed based on her bright attitude that it was 4 am! We were happily surprised with our service and with our hot food at this bizarre hour of the morning. We hope to see Kellie and chef Sammy again sometime!

Instead, you can come... read more Denny's is a 24-hour restaurant where you can enjoy a hot breakfast at any time of the day without having to settle for a throwaway meal. Instead, you can come in, sit down, and relax as you are waited on by friendly staff. My experience at the Mokena Denny's was fantastic, as the food was always prepared exactly as described on the menu. Even when I requested a dish that was no longer on the menu, the chef was willing to accommodate my request as long as they had the necessary ingredients. I recently ordered The Southern Slam, a dish that had been discontinued for 10 years, which consists of biscuits and gravy with eggs cooked to your preference. Despite its absence from the menu, Denny's in Mokena was able to make it for me.

But today, while in the Mokena area, I decided to try something new - the Cali-club sandwich with a side of double hash browns. I like to customize my orders, and I was very happy with how my meal turned out. The sun-dried tomato mayonnaise and fresh avocado really stood out and took the sandwich to another level. I highly recommend trying this dish for any meal.
