Steers - Moka
Steers
Description
This beachside eatery earns praise for flavorful burgers, fries and varied buffet/themed-restaurant options, plus family-friendly pools and an adult infinity pool. However, experiences are inconsistent: some diners report slow, understaffed service, small portions for the price and troubling food-safety complaints. Limited outlets and minimal promotion compound the uneven experience, so prospective guests should balance tasty highs against variable quality, wait times and occasional hygiene concerns.

I absolutely love your burgers and fries – they are my favorite! The flavors are appetizing, delicious, and incredibly satisfying. However, I feel that your restaurant isn't promoted or advertised well enough. We seldom hear about Steers on social media, and the locations are quite limited across the island, with only two outlets available. I would really appreciate it if you could consider opening a location in Beau Bassin, which is a popular food hub. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the quality seems to have declined compared to the past. It would also be helpful for the staff to receive better training, as wait times can be quite long at times. Addressing these issues would really enhance the overall experience.
I went in for lunch today and was eager to try the quarter chicken meal. Unfortunately, it seemed like their preparation wasn't ready, so I decided to change my order to the Fried Chicken meal, but that wasn't available either. I was very disappointed that I couldn't place an order at all.
My order for just a portion of chips took 40 minutes. There was only one lady handling the burgers and other orders while also managing the chips and grill. The service was extremely slow, and it would have been beneficial to have more staff assisting her to improve the quality of service. I ordered a large portion of chips for 140 rs, but it was served in a small box, which is not worth the price. I cannot recommend this place.
