My wife recently dined at this restaurant and had nothing but good things to say about her meal. When we returned together for a second time, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, my starter of duck confit and black pudding croquet was poorly cooked, with the croquet being burnt on one side. The monkfish main course was also overcooked and lacked color. The cheese board, however, was very good with Irish cheeses, honey, and biscuits/crackers. The wine list was decent, although the white wines seemed a bit repetitive. The service was excellent, with friendly and approachable staff. Overall, I felt that the kitchen may have been understaffed as the food had potential to be excellent with a little more attention to detail.
Had an evening meal in the restaurant. From start to finish it was well presented and everything tasted delicious! Waiters and Waitress lovely and friendly and explained everything to us about our food. Will definitely be back for some tasty food.
I recently dined at this restaurant and tried their prix fixe 5 course menu. The staff, who were well-dressed and knowledgeable about the menu, provided us with a great experience. My daughter and I experienced a culinary journey of new flavors and textures. The staff passionately described each menu item, taking us through the origin of the ingredients, preparation, and final expectations. They offered suggestions that were spot-on. I tried a few new items and was pleased with my choices. The Irish beef cheek and suckling pork belly were fantastic. Every dish was delicious, and the petit fours at the end were amazing, especially the caramel truffle. I left feeling satisfied and enlightened.
We had breakfast in the restaurant and there was a great atmosphere in that room. Food wonderful. Staff amazing.
