I had been to dinner with a group of rather nourished people, slow service and not too courteous, I had opted for the vegetarian menu however the choice seemed not to have been rectified, I had to remember it several times, the dumplings to the tomato as an alternative to those to the duck spider seemed to be industrial: hard and gummy at the same time. No special dish, had been agreed 30 euros in my opinion too many for the quality offered vegetarian options: Very little assortment and no creativity I think there is a lot of way to go
Passing by mistake to Campocroce, I saw this trattoria. And seeing the huge parking lot, I thought beyond that it was convenient, which also had a lot of customers. So, with the excuse of a lunch with friends, as it is also a beautiful location, because of the river that flows next to it, I proposed it. The inn offers 3 types of menus: the fixed menu for workers, the à la carte menu and the tasting menu. We opted for the à la carte menu, to be more free in the choice. The courses are really plentiful and beautiful, besides the confirmation in taste. Very good and panoramic. There are many places. It goes without saying that the service does not excel quickly, but it is not even too slow. The waiters are friendly. The red wine of the house accompanies well, so I feel like recommending it. Lunch with well-managed friends. Surely I'll be back, fine.
Since 2019 my husband and I have eaten at Vecio Muin with friends, family, and visitors. It is family-run. The food is consistently very good to excellent, from steak tagliata to gnocchi and from the potatoes to salads to the lemon chiffon semifreddo. The service is efficient and the prices moderate. The staff know us and always find us a table. If some criticize the wine or a server who doesn't smile, they are missing the experience of a genuinely good restaurant.
