despite the end of the hour, we were greeted with a smile. We ate very well for a very acceptable price. first experience in an Indian restaurant, I only put four stars since I have no comparison point. That was excellent. View all feedback.

Landed 29 dec and was staying at Marina suites so came here because it was close ! Best decision. Not only were staff amazing with the kids but food was so tasty to . Good value for money and it’s made our first night really nice
Excellent as always,we make a point of eating here when in Gran Canaria as it hasn't disappointed yet. Was very busy so understandably took a little longer than usual to get served but no issues otherwise. We will be back.
I persuaded the wife to come here Christmas Eve after I enjoyed great food here from a previous trip to the island and felt they would nail my craving for spicy full flavoured food. Staff were very welcoming on arrival, having football related banter with the kids, the food smelled great, and the place seemed quote busy. Our drinks arrived nice and cold, chosen from a great selection, we enjoyed the drinks while looking forward to a delicious meal. The kids' meals arrived with the starters, I should have walked out at that point. Chicken tikka boti: dish was a little bland, chicken was overcooked and dry. Chilli pakora: Sent chicken pakora, which were dry, definitely reheated. Sent back to get the correct dish. Chilli’s served were not fresh. They were clearly frozen chilli’s which resulted in discolouration, poor texture, and unpleasant. Batter was thick and double cooked, dry, and unpleasant. Aloo pakora: This doughy over fried mess was barely edible. Portion was good for us. We didn’t want large portions, but a variety of flavours. Starters were hot and served quick but otherwise completely disappointing. All starters were refried, dry, and bland. The side salad was the only fresh part of the dish. The kids' curries were well portioned and had an appropriate sized naan. The bread was unfortunately the only good part of the dishes, they tasted very similar to each other, despite ordering a korma and a kharhi, two very different dishes. For our mains, my wife and I had been given a big speech by the waiting staff about the desired spice level we wanted our dish, explaining thier heat scale etc. We expressed that we like spicy food and wanted them asian style, madras heat. We ordered a Lamb Rogan-Josh and a Chicken Khari. My wife's lamb dish tasted like Heinz tomato soup with garlic and a few expired species. It tasted more like a Gazpacho than the traditional thick flavoursome dish we expected. The meat was overcooked and possibly reheated and tough. My Khari, ordered from the speciality menu, was very similar in taste, albeit a little hotter. Neither to the spice level we asked for. The chicken was dry, and I spent the journey home picking stringy chicken from my teeth. It is apparent to me that this restaurant uses the same tactic used by dirty takeaways who use the same base for every dish. Hence, everything has the same flavour. In my opinion, none of the ingredients were fresh. Everything was reheated and not as you'd expect for a specialist restaurant. I paid the €92 bill in full and complained to the staff who had avoided our table, I suspect sensing we were not happy. Honestly, you can buy slightly better ready meals in Asda for a fraction of the price and a much better experience. I wasn't going to add insult to injury by leaving this review, as I had expressed my concerns on the night. But when all of my family woke up Christmas morning running for the toilet, I changed my mind. It's now 2pm Christmas day and we are all suffering with diohoarea. Food prepared like is simply down to laziness, poor management, and low standards. If you do not have the confidence to serve traditional Indian food, close your doors and let someone else do it properly.
Gran restaurante junto al puerto deportivo. El personal se ríe mucho y la comida es excelente
