El Jardin Garden - Mogán

We have booked for a night not for food but should be similar considering what’s happened… We arrived in the afternoon at the address given on Booking, however the place was a 7/8 minute drive away. Once there we put our bags down and, although the bathroom was not very clean, we went out to visit the harbour. On our return we got an unpleasant surprise, several cockroaches came out of the cabinet in the picture, some of them running towards

Staying close by we decided to visit. You do need to book ahead for food so our first visit was just for a drink, we then booked for paella. It was outstanding! Beautiful food and the family were so welcoming and kind, it was a beautiful setting and an amazing meal. I would recommend vixitong biyt do phone and book!

If you want a quick meal or fast food then this family run restaurant is not for you as everything is cooked from scratch and takes time. We visited the first week of our holiday and yes we had to wait but when our meals came delicously cooked fresh fish and steak, they were lovely. We decided to go back a second time as we enjoyed sitting in the lovely green gardens, having a leisurely drink, chatting with Yuli and Pablo and watching the restaurant's children play while waiting for dinner. We had pre ordered the paella which Pablo cooked on a wood fire outside. Wow, it was well worth the wait as it was the best tasting paella we have ever had. Two lovely pleasant evenings in a quiet garden setting, thank you Pablo, Yuli and your lovely children. We will return when back in Gran Canaria.

We stayed close to El Jardin and spent a wonderful evening here eating Pablo and Juli's tasty authentic paella, that was cooked over the fire with all fresh ingredients. The garden is a lovely place to sit and eat with some great wine and music. We were made to feel very welcome.....and felt very lucky to have found such a delightful restaurant and charming people. On our honeymoon, we happened to get off at the wrong bus stop and noticed this little spot. The owners are great hosts. There was a birthday party happening when we were there and we took some photos. We let Pablo take some photos with our camera also. We stayed for a couple of drinks and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The garden is fantastic. We have sent on the photos, I hope they received them ok.
