Under a block of apartments in a home, this was an unexpected place to find so big food and great selection, the menu is so easy to use both in German and in English. a short walk from some well-rated hotels near frankfurt.
I was here four times last year. the menu is quite large, and I think it suffers a little. for a start are clearly prepared or bought some items. my wife rosti came to the example directly from aldi (300 meters). the road down). that is no complaining, more a note. my chips were also today, either baked or heated again, as they were better suited to build hardcore than eat. that's a grievous one. but at other places we had a good meal there and I was very happy. my wife thinks you carving is excellent and I like her balkan dishes. apart from eating, I find the atmosphere excellent, probably the best beautiful atmosphere in the environment. many groups (more than couples). the personal is a little brutal, a bit more chat and a little less balkan charm would not hurt her! Overall, I can see why points vary, as some meal times are great and others less so. if I could get some gordon ramsey, I would say that they need a smaller menu and show a little flare instead of staple good. I will continue to return as they are hit more often than not.
Beautiful place to enjoy lunch or dinner. extremely good quality at a reasonable price. good service and an old charm ambiente.
I love their rahm schnitzel mit spätzle! My friends all loved their dishes as well. I also really love that they always give a warm shot of something (they often let you pick) after dinner, and on the house. The prices are low and the...food is quite good, the menu is in German with the English translations below. It's casual, you can sit inside or outside.
When I went here with a dear friend for the first time in well over 20 years, I was uncertain whether it would meet my expectations. I needn 't have had any concerns whatsoever! The kitchen was as good as I remembered that is to...say very, very good! And the warm, friendly service was fantastic! Greeted as we entered the door by a smiling, friendly lady, she quickly made us feel 'at home. ' Our meals were prepared beautifully and served promptly, the beverages were very good, and the experience was an absolute hit for both of us. My friend, my best friend 's widow, had originally intended to take me elsewhere, but that 'Balkan ' restaurant was booked out due to Christmas parties, so we came to the Zagreb instead. I had frequented this excellent, hidden treasure many times when I lived in Germany, and had always enjoyed it but this 'return ' was like coming home to your favorite neighborhood 'haunt ', the one outsiders don 't know, but the locals frequent for the best meals and atmosphere, fuer die Gemuetlichkeit. Zagreb still has it! A quick slivovitz for an aperitif, and then the biggest surprise of all! Well under 30 Euro for two full meals and drinks a princely repast at a pauper 's price! My warmest thanks to I. for taking me there, and to Zagreb for welcoming me back.
