But when we were poured a Störtebeker Hefeweizen in a large Pilsner cup (for more than 5.00 euros) and the small Pilsner we wanted for the lady turned out to be a large Pilsner, we avoided further surprises and didn't order any food. The service seemed listless, not particularly friendly, constantly rolled their eyes and then you stood in line, starving, for 15 minutes, only to be turned awa... read more The service seemed listless, not particularly friendly, constantly rolled their eyes and then you stood in line, starving, for 15 minutes, only to be turned away with the words The kitchen is closed, there is no more food shortly before 8 p.m p.m. on Friday during the peak holiday period. While I had to at least beg the lady at the checkout for fries, at least 4 large portions went over the counter next to me and more portions were being prepared in the kitchen. Then, in an emergency, I paid €9.60 for two portions of fries with ketchup and then after 15 minutes I was amazed at the mini sizes of the fries. Thank God there was still a great restaurant open in Göhren until 11 p.m. that gave us a warm welcome and great food. At least I can 't understand this rush of people here. It 's a shame, actually a great location, potentially good food, but the service is terrible and really doesn 't put you in a good mood, especially not on vacation.
