Everytime I stay in Moenchengladback with my German Host Parents I ask them to take me to this Restaurant. The Food is just great. I dont eat regularly turkish Food but wont miss ever the opportunity in this Restaurant. They also have a place where...they sell spices and wine. Highly recommended! Regards, Rick Trelles
We had several meals at Orofino and all were excellent. Lamb in many different presentations, wonderful salads, but for me, the absolute killer part was the bread!! If I could, I would have this bread shipped to my home on a weekly basis. True love!
Friends of ours invited us out on our last day in Moenchengladbach to this well run restaurant and we were happy to finish off our germany tour here! We were immediately greeted after entering and had the choice between a couple of tables. The ambiance.. design is quite special but still comfortable at the same time. The menu is very large with creative dishes mainly covering the mediterranean, turkish and german cuisine. My wife had the Sis kebab (lamb skewers) and I myself went for the grill platter. The portions are big,the quality of the meat fantastic and the plate nicely arranged ! Service was very well trained to know their menu as we had alot of questions. If you're into wines, they have an amazing selection of spanish reds and german white wines. The service recommended wines which went very well with our red meat dishes. Overall a nice evening in a cozy setting great for longer conversations with friends and family ! Hope to come back one day !
