Already ordered several times here and usually the best carving in the whole of Mönchengladbach. Unfortunately, there seems to be a new cook. Two calves were ordered and one of them was delivered as a pork carving. For someone who doesn't eat this, a refund of 5€ at a total price of 30€ is really not fair. Beautiful selection of scavengers, selectable between large and small portions. Schnitzel but really delicious. Very satisfied.

The potatoes were simply quartered and covered with hollondaise and cheese. Too bad. Disgusting!
Were here for dinner today with 8 people. The food has tasted excellent and was also completely sufficient. The operation was very accommodating and also fast.
On the occasion of an event in Mönchengladbach we visited the Schnitzelschmiede for dinner today. We were warmly welcomed by the boss in the rustic guest room. We then ordered a small salad plate and two carving variations. The food has tasted very well and we were as friendly as we were received after paying. The price performance ratio is absolutely fine. We'll be happy to eat there on occasion.
We were two. The service was very friendly, it didn't miss anything. We chose (natural) scavengers that were loped freshly. As disturbing I did not perceive the knocking noise, because then you know that the carvings are fresh. What is negative is the “old-baked” facility: old chairs from the 80s, plastic table ceilings and not quite contemporary pictures/art works on the forest. We had asparagus that was well prepared. The price ratio fits! It didn't get us off the stool, but we'll come back sometime!
