We were on our honeymoon, called ahead to make sure it was open, then drove 2 hours from Lake Garda area so that my wife could enjoy a lunch in what looked to b... read more We were on our honeymoon, called ahead to make sure it was open, then drove 2 hours from Lake Garda area so that my wife could enjoy a lunch in what looked to be a picturesque Bavarian spot. Nothing was said to us about limited hours. We arrived at 1:55 pm, and were told the restaurant was closed. We spoke to a manager, who said the restaurant closed at 2:00, but we were free to order a pizza. I looked at my phone and it was 1:58 THEN. We left and found a more accommodating spot in Moena, at a place that was more welcoming to tourists.

Lovely restaurant with delicious pizzas. The waiters were friendly and very quick despite the restaurant being full. We were a little hesitant a... read more I visited in mid-November with my boyfriend. It was the only place open for lunch in Moena at that time, so we felt compelled to go. We were a little hesitant at first, but we were convinced by the multitude of accolades posted on the front door. And I must say, our expectations were far exceeded. We found a beautiful place, as welcoming as a refuge, yet with attention to every detail. Even though we arrived almost at closing time, they still welcomed us, and we ate some truly amazing dishes. I personally ate the best canederli of my life! Highly recommended!
