We had pranzo for two on a cold but beautiful late winter day, several years ago, soon after their existence was announced in a newspaper review. The drive from Bari terminated delightfully, and expectations were high. Lovely spot, nice building, but the worms etc ruined the experience. I'm hunting now for another escape from the chitty to the country-side, and have thought for years that we should give these folks another try; they were just getting started when we visited. But, the website [quoted in title] remains dismal, and I'm now hunting for another place to celebrate Carnivale on this beautiful day. Sigh.

Beautiful location with well-kept garden. characteristic interior. on the kitchen some extra shortening would not guastetebbe. housed appetizers defined, but ve... read more Beautiful location with well-kept garden. characteristic interior. on the kitchen some extra shortening would not guastetebbe. housed appetizers defined, but very well positioned with many courses of medium low quality (carciofi, fried onions, turkey fese, parmigiana). horses with sauce with mushrooms frankly insipid. on the meat a little better in the grill both rolled and lamb not cooked at the moment but heated. on sweets nothing to excel. semi-freddo to the very rich and loaded almonds.
