First some background, I love boba/milk tea. With that said, I have certain standards for boba as well. I got the Wintermelon Milk Cap with boba, but made the amateur mistake of not adjusting sweetness and ice. The milk cap here is thick and salty, not quiet the same as places like Happy Lemon. But it works well with the sweet wintermelon tea. I would definitely get 50% sweet and 50% ice next time. One thing I was im... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kung Fu Tea:
3 1/2 stars. On tea drinks, some i,ve seen were still powder. Correct me if not so. Teas were decent. I had green tea plain with1.5 sweetener. The family also said okay with their orders. I do like the format of knee high tables and great social atmosphere a big plus. A great meeting place. I'll update again after visiting with other drink orders. As always, post what u find that fancy your palette.
To give you some context, I’m a huge fan of boba and milk tea, so I have certain expectations when it comes to these drinks. I tried the Wintermelon Milk Cap with boba, but I made the rookie mistake of not customizing the sweetness and ice levels. The milk cap here is thick and has a salty flavor, which is a bit different from what I’m used to at places like Happy Lemon. However, it pairs nicely with the sweet wintermelon tea. I’ll definitely ask for 50% sweetness and 50% ice next time. One highlight for me was the boba. I could taste the hint of honey, and the texture was just right—perfectly chewy and al dente. My coworkers kept raving about the Taro Milk Tea, so I can't wait to come back and give it a try!
3.5 stars. Regarding the tea drinks, I've noticed that some appear to still be in powdered form—please correct me if I'm wrong. The teas were decent; I had plain green tea with 1.5 sweeteners. My family also mentioned that they were satisfied with their orders. I really enjoy the layout with knee-high tables and the vibrant social atmosphere—it’s definitely a big plus. It’s a great spot for gatherings. I'll provide an update after I visit again and try other drink options. As always, feel free to share what you find appealing for your palate!
The tea was excellent, but the service was quite slow. By the time we received our tea slush, it had already melted. I found the prices to be on the higher side, especially considering the lack of customer service. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed, but it was a busy Sunday afternoon.
We got sick from this place! The worst Kung Fu Tea we've been to. The staff wasn't friendly at all. The drinks took a long time and they were overly sweet. The only good thing I can say is the brown sugar boba was soft and warm. However we ordered four drinks and we all got SICK!! And I wish we would have read the reviews before going here. One person had a Band-Aid at the bottom of their drink!? NASTY! You don't accidentally lose a Band-Aid in someone's drink, that sounds intentional. Another person had broken glass in their drink!? This place needs to be shut down! Don't recommend anyone going here!
Absolutely disgusting. When I got to the bottom of my drink I found this huge poop looking thing inside. Seriously do not check what you put into the cups?? When I called to let them know what I found the employee asked if all I did was call to complain. I will not be returning here.
