What Sue V doesn't like about Dos Compadres:
The sauce is very sour and no flavoring in the carne asada. The wet burrito green sauce is NOT reccommended! Huge portion doused with immense sauce all over it that taste like vinegar and straight up sour note. DON'T EVER get the green sauce for the chips! There is something wrong with that sauce. The food was still hot and super flavorful!! The taco salad portion is enough for me to eat for later which I love!

Modesto is home to the best Albondigas (Meatball Stew) around. This restaurant is the only place in town where the essential soup toppings (rice, lime, onions, and cilantro) are included at no additional cost.
The food was disappointing. The nachos were lacking cheese and everything was cold and soggy. The chicken taquitos were not very flavorful.
