Was Lina Bins at Deva Cafe a mag?
This is a fantastic spot for breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend trying the Mexican mocha. The food looked so delicious that I couldn't resist and had to dig in right away. We ordered the Inner City Burger, Avocado Toast, and Breakfast Sandwich. View all feedback.
What Aric Larkin dislikes about Deva Cafe:
First time I’ve been in this establishment since the new owners. I have to say I was a little disappointed in the food. I had ham and eggs and country potatoes. The country potatoes were pretty much drenched in oil and mushy, the ham was lunchmeat style ham. I will say that the staff was Was friendly and personable. I’d be willing to try it again and look forward to their improvements with breakfast. My hats off to t... View all feedback.

I used to come here a lot when I lived in Modesto. It was like an oasis. I'm glad over 15 years later they're still in business.
Good crepes and Cran-Apple Cider! Rustic vibe aand outdoor service too!
New owners? When did that happen? A friend mentioned some good reviews, so I checked it out but hadn’t had the chance to visit until now. After a few visits, I can confidently say that both experiences were fantastic! The staff is friendly, and it’s a great breakfast and lunch spot in downtown Modesto. I visited family after the holiday and really enjoyed spending time downtown.
I don't dine out often in Modesto, but as someone from the Bay Area, I can confidently say this incredible restaurant is a true gem! The prices are fantastic, and the food is outstanding! The flavors are simply irresistible! This place is a must-visit!
This restaurant is fantastic! I appreciated the spacious layout and the generous portion sizes of the food. While I didn’t order a coffee myself, I noticed that nearly everyone else around me did. I tried the Hash breakfast plate, which was delicious. I also liked the system where you pay upfront, allowing you to leave right after finishing your meal without waiting for the bill. I was in and out in just 45 minutes, which is impressive for a Saturday breakfast at 10 AM!
Nestled in the heart of the community, this restaurant has undergone a refresh with new owners dedicated to improving the dining experience. While some diners found room for improvement in dishes like the ham and eggs, many rave about the homemade feel of the offerings, particularly the Inner City Burger and breakfast sandwiches. The café boasts a spacious layout with generous portions and friendly staff, earning praise for efficient service, allowing patrons to enjoy their meals without delays. Highlights include a delicious Mexican mocha and a killer burrito, making it a must-visit spot for breakfast and lunch enthusiasts.

I had a really nice experience at this restaurant. It was spacious with generous portion sizes and good food. Although I didn't order a coffee, I noticed that everyone else did. I had the hash breakfast, which I really enjoyed. One thing I liked was that you pay before eating, so you can leave as soon as you finish without waiting for the bill. I was in and out in 45 minutes, which is perfect for a 10 o'clock Saturday breakfast.
I was hooked before I even left town. The food was exceptional, and I will definitely return when I am in town again.
The food gave a very home made feeling, and the chicken euphoria was delicious! Had the iced coffee and it was rich and flavorful. All in all a wonderful place for a local bite!
Heather run a top notch cafe with great tasting, fresh, food and drinks. The staff is always pleasant, even when busy. My favorites are the burgers, the chicken salad sandwich, and her Asian chicken salad.
