It was my wife's birthday, so we decided to go out as a family. I have worked in various fast food establishments and restaurants, so I have a good sense of quality food. Unfortunately, the food at this place was very disappointing. My fries were cold when they arrived, and I choked on them. I asked for a fresh batch, but they were overloaded with salt and barely edible. I couldn't eat them at all. The chicken strips I ordered were overcooked as well. The only redeeming part of the meal was the root beer and the chips and salsa. I overheard my family mentioning that their fries were also too salty and that their food was overcooked, but they tend to hold back their opinions, unlike me. It's difficult for me to speak out, as I am a two-time cancer survivor and lost 70% of my tongue and half of my lower jaw. Most people struggle to understand me, so others often have to express my thoughts for me. I can still taste food, and I have a strong dislike for subpar meals, especially when I spend good money on them. Whoever was cooking the food last night needs to improve their skills and show more care in their work. You can truly tell when someone takes pride in their job. We spent $200 for this experience, and I can assure you we will never dine at this restaurant again. On a positive note, our server was amazing!
The young woman was exceptionally kind and friendly; she did a wonderful job serving our drinks and was very attentive with our orders. The food was delectable and expertly crafted.
I visited today and was seated in the middle section. I waited for 17 minutes, but the waiter never came by. I went to the front desk and asked the lady about our waiter. She said he was busy with the entire area. I decided to leave. I went to a fantastic local restaurant where I was served right away, even though they were packed. I would recommend skipping this Chili's; they're really missing the mark.
I usually come to this restaurant primarily for the molten chocolate cake, which I truly adore! Overall, my experience was great, and I enjoyed the wide range of meal choices. The only drawback was the wait time to be seated, which was around 50 minutes. On the bright side, they offer a kids' menu with child-sized meals and desserts, which I thought was excellent!
