Carl's Jr. - Modesto

This restaurant is extremely slow, especially the drive-thru. However, the place is always clean and the workers are very attractive and courteous. The large parking lot and outdoor area are also very well-maintained.

The restaurant was clean and welcoming, however, the chicken sandwich was cheap. I used to adore the chicken club, but it doesn't taste as good now.

We had a very unpleasant experience at Carl's Drive Thru on January 25th at 2 o'clock. The manager, Claudia, refused to serve us and was very rude and unprofessional. We had 2 separate items for 2 different households, each with their own coupons. After placing the first order, which totaled almost $30, we tried to place a second order with a coupon code. However, Claudia told us that we could only use one coupon per visit. When we explained that the second order was for a family member in need due to COVID, she was unhelpful and unkind. We ended up going to another Carl's location where the district manager was much more understanding and allowed us to use both coupons together. He was friendly, helpful, and promised to address the situation with Claudia. We hope to give Carl's Drive Thru another chance in the future, with hopefully better results.

The food was delicious and fresh. cash was nice, but the prices are high! guacamole tasted slightly different than usual, but still good.

Ordered large fries and they only gave us small. Chick at the drive through was rude, could have at least given us the order correctly. No syrup in the sodas at all either.
