Along the provincial road that crosses the Fontanabuona, at the height of Gattorna is the Bar Restaurant Beneitin. A historic place in Val Fontanabuona, as evidenced by the rooms and furnishings. In Gattorna, a small village in Valfontabuona, famous for its fireworks during the last Sunday of August, you will find this bar at the intersection with the state that leads to Recco: a classic country bar with furniture and old style counter, but where, according to me, one of the best ice creams in the province. The taste of real ice cream, artisanal and made as once, classic tastes, but of a unique goodness, such as hazelnut or pistachio, as well as various creams and fruit flavors. Along with the Siculo of Via Trebisonda is for me the best ice cream that can be enjoyed in Genoa. Fixed stop when through the Fontanabuona, good prices (if not mistaken the cones start from 1.50) and kind owners.

A fixed stop when I go motorbike riding, the owners are friendly and sociable, they give excellent advice on where to go to eat real Ligurian cuisine! Oh I forgot, the ice cream is also excellent.
