Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Mobile

My Bahama Mama smoothie wasn’t smooth? I actually had to blend it myself. It also didn’t taste like it normally does, and I order it often. I ordered it delivery this time, but I feel it’s safe to assume the same crew that’s working tonight is the one that was working the other night. The last time I ordered here, I had placed an in store pickup order through the app. I tried to go inside, but the door was locked. I tried getting someone’s attention by knocking and holding my phone with the order confirmation up to the door. The girls inside tried to ignore me, but when the one sitting finally looked, she got very rude and animated. I couldn’t hear what she was saying, but I don’t think she was answering my questions. The girl behind the counter then actually brought my order to the door and unlocked it to hand it to me outside. She said nothing. I said thank you, and then something not very nice, and left.

So this morning I visited this Tropical Smoothie, I was under the impression that when you order in the app when the button (IM ON THE WAY) lights up at the bottom and you press it then they will start to prepare your order, apparently that’s incorrect. Me and my husband received 2 extremely watery smoothies(gross), the staff refused to remake the drinks because she said they had been ordered 30min prior, very disappointing before going into a 12 hour shift, I still don’t understand what the issue is, needless to say I won’t be visiting this tropical again because I actually go out of my way to come here because if the speed of service I receive each time, but I was really pressed for time the reason I ordered on the app today.

Shouldn’t have kids working at night. We stopped right before closing and sat at the drive thru speaker for 15 minutes before closing. We waited and no answers to our calls. Finally decided to sit behind the last car at the window. We were told they were closed which was obvious! Told us the headset had been removed at closing time, but we’d come 10-15 before the 9:00 pm closing. Didn’t offer an apology and didn’t seem to care. Don’t feel like coming back either if that’s the way this business is run.

This is a good place to get nice smoothie drinks. I like getting a smoothie here after getting a haircut at place next door. They have lots of food items on menu but I have only gotten smoothies. The staff seems nice and price is reasonable

Much better experience than the other store in town. Kory is a sweetheart and keeps everyone organized!
