Great restaurant in the heart of downtown, Mobile. We had an amazing server, I believe Courtney was her name. She did introduce herself to us. She's very knowledgeable about the menu, suggesting food. She kept the ice tea full in our glasses, as well as water. Nice place to go for lunch downtown. I highly recommend this jewel of old Mobile restaurants. View all feedback.
What Julia Collins doesn't like about T.p. Crockmiers:
Received the worst food, server Cierra severed cold fries that was old and told me and my husband it was because their kitchen was about to close. Shrimp Po Boy was cold... View all feedback.
We were having a date weekend and saw this place across the street. When we got inside we were greeted and taken upstairs to eat on the balcony, which was what we wanted. From the beginning our experience was awful! The server brought me the wrong drink.I ordered a Moscow mule and she brought a Mojito. Our appetizers came and they were nothing better than awful! No seasoning on the fried green tomatoes, the shrimp on top were under cooked. The crab cakes were ALL filler and tasted like canned crab. Again, no seasoning. I ordered the BLACKENED mahi with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The mahi had paprika and black pepper which is what I assume they call blackened. No salt! The mashed potatoes were cold and completely unseasoned. And the Brussels sprouts??? Think crepe paper that you use for birthday parties! They were burnt, unseasoned and I couldn’t even chew them! I spit it in my napkin. The Montecristo was decent but the fries were soggy and cold. We literally didn’t eat ANY of our food and our server acted like she didn’t even care. We paid $98.00 and didn’t get full! I even overheard the people next to us complain about their food AND drinks! I do NOT recommend this place unless you want to give away money like we did!
If you have a party of 2 you may want to choose another establishment. Seating options for 2 extremely limited due to management policy.
It was an amazing time and experience we come here every Fat Tuesday. When serving me and my dad they were very kind. The food was amazing it and I highly recommend the Mexicana Nachos and the Super chicken. Throughout everything this was definitely one of my favorite places and we will be coming back every year for Fat Tuesday.
We ate here today. I ordered a Monty Cristo. What I got was Swiss cheese and one slice of lunchmeat turkey on flavorless warm bread. I told our server it was the worst sandwich I’ve ever had, I only ate one quarter and asked her to take it away. She does nothing then brings the bill and the $15.99 sandwich is on there. I asked to see the manager and explained what happened. She argued with me and told me that is what a Monty Cristo is. My husband ordered plain breaded wings. He was served wings smothered in buffalo sauce. By far the worst experience ever!!!! We paid full price for everything.
Visited from MS after going to a church in the area. We were seated immediately, but it took about 20 minutes before a server came. Enjoyed taking to a wonderful pair of senior ladies from the same area we were from while we waited. They were in their 80s, and you never would have known had they not told us! I am very pleased to meet them both. Then, the owner walked in and talked to us for a while. He was a very pleasant guy as well. The two ladies mentioned that the entire dining room had just cleared out, so maybe that's why it took a while to order. The food was amazing. Ordered the ribeye poboy. It was seasoned very well and was cooked to perfection. Very tender even though I ordered it medium well. It was still very pink inside, which I normally don't like. However, it was delicious. The owner came over again while we were eating and chatted with us again. It's so rare for the actual owner to be in the dining room mingling with guests. I've never visited Mobile, but I'll be sure to go back just to visit this place again. Parking downtown was $10 for 6 hours. On street parking wasn't available due to Cinco de Mayo celebrations, but we found a paid lot one block over. It was very easy to pay using the Park Mobile App as there were long lines at both kiosks. I'd recommend this place to anyone! Check it out!!!
