The Royal Scam - Mobile

This is our first time dining here, and it was a great experience. We started with seafood gumbo Soup du hour for the appetizers. The entree for the night was grilled redfish and coffee braised short ribs, and dessert was bread pudding. All the dishes were amazing. We'll be back again to try more menu items. Our goal is to try everything on the menu out. Thank you so much. See you all next time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!

I had no idea the royal scam offered usda prime cuts, my ribeye was out of this world. Cooked perfectly and had smokey undertones that set it apart from others. The pork belly and crab cakes were top notch as well. I prefer the royal scam to the dumb waiter now. One of the better steaks in Mobile, AL

I have been going to The Royal Scam for almost 20 years — it actually was where I took my wife on our first date — and it continues to be our favorite spot in Mobile. The staff always is so friendly, and the food is incredible. Their filet is literally the best steak I've ever had.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. We had the catch of the day. It was perfectly prepared. The wine list is extensive and our waiter made a perfect pairing suggestion. Wrapped up it all up with a perfect dessert of Crème brûlée and French Pressed coffee. Great place for a date night.

The food here is always delicious! They always have the best fish specials. We always get the Hanoi shrimp. It's our favorite appetizer. The noodle salad is delicious. The service is exceptional too. All of the staff there is wonderful, but Brittany is the absolute best! April is also wonderful. She is the manager and will accommodate any need you have. Make sure to get the crème brûlée. The chef always changes it up. We had butterscotch crème brûlée. It was amazing!
