Excellent dinner and service for my wife’s birthday. The food is truly excellent. I was really blown away, however, by the “Half Baked Oysters”....it was amazing. Service was exceptional, as expected. Only thing that is bothersome....the chairs are all metal. Bring a cushion if you want comfort! (It’s worth it for the food, but I hope they change the seating soon! View all feedback.
What Rebeca Hyatt doesn't like about The Dumbwaiter-Spring Hill:
Food was excellent. Service was fine. Seating is uncomfortable and the lighting is too bright for an evening out. Ambience could use some work but overall it is a promising place. View all feedback.
Our rating is for the dumb waiter in fairhope. some prices are a little high for worth, but still recommend
That was not in fair-hope, but legacy. they had no objects like a wee that we chose because they moved, which was annoying. they had no desserts as they were ordered by a great party sitting in front of us. Maybe it'll be better if they come to fair-hope.
We were there for a valentine-stag meal disappointed with food quality and temperature, as the plate together with food in various stadien der prep. grits was already a dae, hollandaise sauce on the fish and vegetables cold and stuffed. service was excellent. for the calculated price the food should have been exceptional. we will not return.
Scallops and crabcakes were very good. some dishes were too heavy on the sauces.
Our meals were very good. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The wait for our food was a lot longer than expected, perhaps due to several large parties at the restaurant. We were comp'd dessert due to the long wait for our meals. I think the food prices were relevant to the quality of the food; however, the wine prices were high. The restaurant didn't have bottles of wine for sale, so we ordered glasses of wine. My wife had 3 glasses of pinot noir and I had 3 glasses of cabernet sauvignon. Total wine bill was $75.00 (an average of $12.50/glass) which I consider pretty high given that we were not told the prices prior to ordering nor were we able to order a full bottle. Otherwise, a very nice evening.
