My husband and I had a breakfast date this morning and decided to try this place out. The maple mocha coffee was delicious. I ordered the extreme B&G. At 1st I was excited to try gravy with shitake mushrooms and the meatballs. Got my food and it was just biscuits and gravy, with a 2 fried eggs. I went back up and asked where the rest was. Wow, finally a great experience for breakfast! Highly recommended no need to be waited on, everything is there for you to grab after you order your food. The food was out of this world and the staff was very friendly!
Awesome looking place, with a great setup inside. There is plenty of seating and a great beverage choice. But they lack customer service.First off, there was a HUGE sign advertising $5.10 off your order. FIVEANDDIME [This is all it says, there is no limit on spending etc. I ask the young lady at the front, She insisted corporate had to deal with it and I had to call them. Weird. I asked her if a manager could possibly assist because of the major confusion.Then, the manager arrives, and she 's hesitant to answer my question. Gives me the exact same run around, Call corporate we don 't deal with that. All before she says, You have to spend $25 or more to receive the coupon. Then she storms off. And the cashier goes about the orders for a few minutes and forgets I was ordering. No problem, I waited.But Ahhh, there it was. That 's all I needed. SPEND $25 OR MORE TO RECEIVE COUPOUN . Didn 't need the attitude or sass or to be ignored for 5 minutes after that fact. If it wasn 't for the sweet lady(completely different woman) who rushed to the counter after seeing us standing there for a while, to take our order. This would be a 1 star review on service. Hopefully, they were just having a rough morning. So much for a first impression Also, there are no vegan options, for anybody who is wondering. This has nothing to do with the amount of stars given in the review.
It had a clean and welcoming atmosphere. I met one of my former students there for brunch (her idea) as it was our 1st time eating there, and we enjoyed it. The food was delicious.
We ordered online to get the five and dime off. Waited 30+ minutes for our food when customers that were there after us and got the same thing as us got their food first. The waitresses were awful, they did not want to help us with our order when they got it wrong. I had to ask for the specialty drink I got twice. They got several things in our order wrong and we had to ask them to fix it several times before they wanted to help us. It got to the point we didn’t even want to ask for them to fix it in fear they would spit in our food or something. Would not go back again it was a cute concept but not executed well. Was also extremely hot in the restaurant.
Neat place to eat in Mobile. Modern and clean. Comfy seating and interesting and fun vibe from the decor to the service given by the team. Menu was creative. Food was good but I wouldn’t say great but I’m glad we tried it. Area of the town is nice, also.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly
