What Netanya Dunivent doesn't like about El Vaquero Mexican:
The staff were friendly and quick. The food was okay. I’ve had better but definitely not the worst I’ve had. The portion size for fajita was small compared to most restaurants. Chicken was on the dry side. The chips were a little odd tasting. I was not a fan of the set up in the restaurant. Just got street tacos from there and found a hair that is so unsanitary and violates food and safety rules.
If you like a burrito California El Vaquero is the place to go.The service was prompt.I will say the last two times we've been the atmosphere was less than steller but that was others not the restaurant. Also if you like to eat outside they have a most excellent spot.
The food at El Vaquero definitely hits the spot! The food was fresh, hot, and delicious!
Excellent all around. Value is fantastic. You could have fed 2 average adults to comfortable status with what came in a single meal.
Everything about El Vaquero is inviting. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, and the outdoor seating area had so many gorgeous plants and colorful flowers, it just felt cozy. I had the steak fajitas and the meat was well seasoned, cooked to perfection and not at all fatty, like some steak can be. Oir food came quickly, and it was all hot and delicious. We will absolutely be returning next time we are in town.
