Moama should thank it’s lucky stars that it has this amazing restaurant. Tucked far away from the pokies, you will find this uber cool restaurant with its modern and stylish decor. Staff were friendly and attentive. The meals were all amazing, and presentation was impeccable. A family lunch that will be remembered fondly View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Junction Moama:
junction is sucked. website never identified with a bowls club. no idea we needed a card to enter. they turned us away because my partner had no ID. no idea that you have to enter. they wouldn't even take one. we would have spent hundreds for a good meal, but they have made a bad choice. the junction has a wrong image. it has bad management. Lovely soulful venue with live music that really set the tone. Service was nice and friendly. Food was good and tasty. We appreciate the Chef and team to explore middle eastern and in particularly Asian flavours. The steamed Mussels and Udon with greens was too salty though a great attempt using Asian flavours. I would use less soy sauce and dilute it with water, citrus or a broth to balance the soy and oyster sauce for the stem mussels. The use of soy for the udon was too much as it made the dish very salty. A cold balanced soy based broth that’s been chilled or a warm bone-soy broth would have been better. The use of soy sauce in Asian cuisines is not the same as using passata in pastas. It’s usually a couple teaspoons diluted with a broth/water etc to balance. Everything else was fantastic. The Korean meatballs with nuoc cham, which I suspect was heavily influenced by a popular northern Vietnamese dish “Bun Cha” as the flavours was very similar and was very tasty. The highlight was the beef cheeks Rendang for me, very different with just a hint of rendang flavour. Would have loved a little more rendang thick sauce, in saying that the beef cheeks was extremely tender and absolutely delicious. Overall we really enjoyed it and can see the attention to details in presentations and really appreciate the courage to explore south east and middle eastern flavours. Well done to the team
We had a very goodnight upstairs in the function room for a 21st. And the food was beautiful. Thank you to all the workers and the manger.
This was an experience. Ordered 3 of the small plates which was perfect for lunch and amazing flavour with all of them. We couldn't be happier with the food. Great service also
Beautiful building, lovely atmosphere. Staff were good. We did have a small mix up with our meals, but it was rectified very quickly. The meals were of a high standard. Would probably go again.

When I booked I didn’t realise that one guest had a nut allergy. The staff did everything in their power to accomodate him with meal options . The manager went out of her way to come and speak to us not just once but twice. She was very educated and apologised profusely. Food was fabulous. Just disappointed missed out of zucchini blossoms. But being local there will always be a next time.
We were really looking forward to the Junction experience. However we very disappointed with the service. Our table seemed to be over looked to the extent that we could have easily walked out without paying or being noticed. The food and ambiance was lovely.
Had a wonderful evening with our friends, venue, service food was terrific. We had a standard menu every one totally enjoyed their meals. Entree , mains deserts. Just yum.. 9/10.

Had such a lovely evening mostly due to our friendly waitress Ziggy! She made the whole experience so comfortable and exciting
Fantastic venue, excellent food, extensive drinks list, and great staff. Hanna Koby were fantastic the night we were there for our anniversary.
Lunch today was as always, exceptional. Our experience was made all that much better by our amazing waiter Zephyr. He was attentive, informative, engaging and totally delightful! He is a gem and such a value to the establishment that you just can’t replace. Thank you for making our afternoon so delightful
Looking for that special place, fantastic food, great ambience and topped off with good wines and/or that special cocktail then this is the venue. The Junction was recommended by a friend and what a pleasant discovery it turned out to be. We decided to do a selection of the small plates to experience the various flavours from the kitchen. The pictures need no explanation except to say they consisted of salmon, pork belly, oysters and prawns. We decided to finish with a cheese platter and coffee. Can highly recommend the Junction.

Great Sunday dinner. had the choice for 2 people. the food was excellent, with drinks from recommendations of the staff well matched. a wonderful place.
No oysters, salad not available that I asked for, no alternatives, just what’s on the menu. Food presentation good but tasted very average. Asked for lamb back strap medium, which the waiter was quite curt about, arrived almost cold and very dry. Wouldn’t go back again
I have been to the junction before and was a little disappointed this time. The food was nice but only just value for money. Two of the guests had a $120 steak with no sides. The sides for the table we ordered were forgotten by the waitress but nil communication on when/if they were actually coming again, therefore we had to stop eating to wait for our sides. Although they did reimburse us for two sides which was nice. The waiter and waitress were very difficult to grab therefore our water and wine was empty alot of the time, even though our wine bottle still had wine in it on the bar. The food was still tasty and I hope our experience will be better next time.
