I looked up some places to eat and we wanted something a little off the beaten path. This place had great reviews so we figured we'd give it a shot. We got there at an odd time, around 2:30 pm and we were the only ones there. The place itself is cute and clean. Service was excellent and so was our food. What Sarah B doesn't like about The Branding Iron:
Oof! I got the Navajo taco for nostalgia purposes and it was NOT yum. The beans were STRAIGHT from a can and really tasted like it. They weren't even washed or modified in any way. The fry bread was tasteless and chewy. The salsa they served with it was quite yummy. I was pretty disappointed. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but I don't think this will be a repeat for me. View all feedback.
I researched some dining options and was looking for something a bit more unique. This restaurant had excellent reviews, so we decided to give it a try. We arrived around 2:30 pm, an unusual time, and we were the only customers there. The ambiance of the place is charming and spotless. The service was outstanding, and the food was equally impressive. I particularly enjoyed the fresh-cut fries, which complemented my flavorful patty melt that was cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, and he found the chicken to be fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. He also opted for a side Caesar salad, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely return to this restaurant on our next visit to Moab.
Oh no! I ordered the Navajo taco mainly for nostalgia, but it was disappointing. The beans tasted like they came straight from a can and were neither rinsed nor altered in any way. The fry bread was flavorless and chewy. However, the salsa that accompanied the dish was quite tasty. Overall, I was pretty let down. I can’t comment on the rest of the menu, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back for this dish.
The ambiance was delightful, and the music added to the overall experience. We ordered two burgers and a BLT, and they were amazing with generous portion sizes. The fries could use a little salt before eating, but I'm not knocking off any points since they provide salt on the side. Overall, I give this place 5 stars! I know I’ll return every time I visit Moab. - EW, age 12
Was hungry after a day of hiking. Everyone there was very nice. The nachos were ok, the Ruben sandwich was ok. Good vibe. If I had been more in the mood, probably should've had the prime rib special.
I would've given this restaurant a zero if I could But they did have a very friendly and helpful staff. Now the food it was terrible. I ordered the barbecue ribs they were so dry and overcooked that I had to vigorously saw( literally saw) the ribs apart with my steak knife to eat them. My daughter had the Cajun burger, which had no Cajun spice on it. It was supposed to come with toppings, but there were none! She just described her burger as very very bland. The fries weren't crispy at all. I would never return there.
