Having not visited this store itself, but the Sushi Bento from this restaurant that I got at the Hankyu department store is probably the best food I ever had from any department store. Watch out! View all feedback.
I went to Torimatsu because of their local speciality, Barazushi, a lasagna-looking dish with stratified rice and with Shijitake mushrooms, peas, shredded egg, Kamaboko, picked ginger, and then grilled with soy sauce and crushed up. I ordered the tango set meal, the really fresh sashimi (and some of the best washabi I had here), fish soup, fish tempura, inlaid vegetables and dessert. That was an incredibly big lunch for 2,100 yen. The menu is actually quite large and they have the entire menu in English and Chinese (also Japanese, of course). I heard that the restaurant is also quite well known for her Udon, but no one I ordered today. The restaurant also has a variety of locally caught fish, local vegetables and other ingredients. There is a second floor for larger parties, and I liked the traditional decor in the restaurant. We ate in the corner in Japanese-style tatami mats, but there were also tables. While my lunch was more than I would normally pay for lunch, the value was incredible because of the amount of excellent food I was served. But the restaurant also offers other satisfactory meals for under 1,000 yen. One of the people I had ordered the local, fried chicken set menu that also looked great.
A great taste of Amino-cho! They have an large English menu. Very nice staff and a pleasant atmosphere. A nice Sake selection from Local brewers. I would recommend the Varazushi (Looks like lasagna) but is a slightly sweet rice dish.

Very good. Udong is one of the best menus.
