The foods are from first-class ingredients and very well prepared. The service is quick and skilled. We tried their different burgers and Spanish specialities, it was worth every penny. The restaurant itself is decades old, at the moment run by a Hungarian team. They have special offers, worth giving it a try.
The meat on the spit (I had lamb) was very delicate and well seasoned. Unfortunately a little small part. Three small pieces of meat were estimated 150g on a 1m spike. The garlic red was a bit dry, but delicious. The result is not good for the corn cubes: They still drank from the fat and the spices were too intense. The service is very friendly and in Mittenwald the restaurant is definitely something special.
Exceptional restaurant with great menu, cozy atmosphere and good service. The spits are a real variety and a tasteful highlight. Price performance is ok, absolutely recommended
There are actually five stars more than justified. First, the cook understands his craft grandios. Only fresh ingredients, even the bread is homemade. Quality and service are top-class, rarely have I experienced such a perfectly matched restaurant. Ambience unique. A rustic Bavarian and a modern part, also in the open some tables. Someone once meant the best restaurant in Mittenwald, I would even say one of the best in all Bavaria including the Palatinate. Prices are not lifted, at least I did not feel expensive. 35 € for 3 people for a dinner is not much, who cannot afford it, is welcome at any branch of the Scottish FastFood chain.
