Eiscafe COSTA - Mittenwald

Stopped in for an afternoon coffee and dessert. The Ice cream was wonderful as was the coffee. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were reasonable. A great place to relax after walking around town.

We stopped for a quick coffee, cake and ice cream. Our daughter loved hers, and my wife's Coupe Danmark was enormous, so pretty good value. I had a latte with amaretto, which was really pretty strong!

Real home made. Yummie. Delicious!!! The ice is self made. They have a big variety of flavours. Friendly service. Cool place. Best ice cream in years!

We found this cafe by accident. Came for a day in Mittenwald and found ourselves in blizzard snowy condition. We dive in and were greeted nicely. We took one table and were given menu cards and politely asked if we can take smaller table (fair...enough, two of us occupying table for four). Later that table was taken by family of four. Cafe was nice, warm (we were freezing) with cosy atmosphere! Owner came to take our order. We don't speak German but he was OK to explain to us in English. We had coffee, kakao (something like hot chocolate but even better, I knew from before so I wanted that from menu), apple strudel and grandma's cherry pie. All items came with whipped cream. We pay euros. I was struggling to reserve restaurant for that night over the phone (German voicemail). This owner was so helpful and friendly that I asked him if he can help us out. He listen voicemail message and reserved table for us for later that night in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. If we even find ourselves in Mittenwald we will make sure that this cafe will be on our list of places to visit again and try they deliciously looking ice cream!

Best place to take coffee in Mittenwald and a great selection of delicious cakes and pies. Portions are enormous
